When you bust your ass to get back up to the top, you'll appreciate it a whole lot more than having it handed to you. Even though it wasn't physically handed to him.

I think the guy should be given a commendation by the local authorities for saving them a lot of money. In Denver last week someone left a backpack at a light rail station and they closed down the area, brought in the bomb squad and overreacted as per the usual. The backpack was blown up and revealed a student's textbooks and papers.
