Home version black and white laser printer

[Bugler]

I am tried of ink jets drying up and the cost of the ink itself. I am looking for a home version, less demand, less cost, black and white laser printer.

I would appreciate any recommendations you can provide.

I have an HP Laserjet 1200 that I picked up off the forum pretty cheap, that is just great.

Thanks for steering me towards an HP printer. I went to newegg and the HP 1012 had great reviews and was in the price range I was looking to spend for my kid's computer, so I ordered one of those.

oops..Staples has the Minolta 1350w for $99 shipped ..its what I'm using ..got the hp for my dad who just had to have hp..

I'm looking for the same solution for drying ink in bubble jets.
So, laser toner will last until it runs out? Can it sit for months/years?
