Got a call from ATD tonight hawking their security services, asking me questions about my current home security. If you get a similar call, I offer you my response to them as a suggestion:

"I'm sorry, but I do not disclose any information about my current home security plan over the phone to some stranger who calls asking about it. It is not only unethical for ATD to make such anonymous inquiries over the phone, in my belief, it should be illegal. For this reason, if I had any plans to purchase a home security system, it will never be from ATD."

About a year ago we were hanging out on the loading dock at work.
Some dude in an ADT truck pulls up and starts asking for identification.
He said he had an active alarm.
When we would not comply, he puts his hand on his 9mm pistol.
I had to tell the fool that he was at the WRONG building.
