Home remedies???

I've been taking sinus and cold medicine for this cold I have been stuck with over the last week and nothing has worked...

Any home remedies for something to rid my sore throat and stuffed nose???

Drink teaspoon of honey, put wet heat on throat (wet towel w/heating pad), go to sleep and wake up feelin better. If not, then watch Gone with the Wind. My girlfriend says that movie is magical (and I think she is full of ****).

Colostrum. Trader Joe's has it. Health food stores charge more. It'll shorten your cold a little. If you had taken it at the first symptom, and then every morning on an empty stomach, you probably wouldn't have gotten the cold. I'm a ski instructor handling snotty kids' gloves, helmets, goggles, etc. and C is how I get through the winter.
