Home Networking Problem

I have a home networking kit, one of the phoneline ones, and every now and then, Windows 2000 tells me the network is disconnected. Any reason why?

dunno, cause it used to be working fine when i had winme, now it always comes up to tell me that my shiznit is unplugged.

Actually I have encountered the same problem on my w2k client. It seems whenever there is a dropped packet Windows 2000 thinks that it is disconnected. For example occasionally my shared drive or printers will be labeled as disconnected but simply clicking on them reinitializes it. The key is that it *should* only be a cosmetic problem. If you cannot reestablish connection immediately it is most likely a hardware or wiring problem
