Home Network (switch) Question

Howdy - I want to replace one switch in my house and add another. The first switch on one side of the house will probably be a Netgear GS608. The other - connected via CAT6a - will be about 60 feet away and most likely a GS105. My question is this: are there potential problems and/or slowdowns which could occur because of the dissimilar switches? Is it best to have connected switches be of the same make and model and even manufacturer? Or doesn't it matter?
I plan to stream media from a server through both switches to a PC, wi-fi AP, and blu-ray player.
Thanks!
