Home network question....

I have a simple home network, 2 desktops connected to a router by a wire and a wireless laptop. recently I built a new computer and transferred components to the second and reinstalled windows. I gave the computer a name and when i look on the network connection in windows explorer i see the second computer but cannot connect to it. What can i do about this?

You may want to take a look at the network and sharing center and make sure the sharing settings you want are enabled for the current profile.

To expand on ketchup79s reply:

There may be a password on the first PC that you will need to use on the new one in order to connect to it.
