Need more information. What O/Ses are you using? What settings do you have enabled on the routers and on the PCs. How do you have the routers daisy chained? Do all the computer have internet access?

if you don't want to take the router back for some reason, or can't because the amount of time you have had it, you can just use the switch that the router has built in. go into the management interface, and turn off dhcp, then plug the ethernet cable from the other router into the uplink port on the router, this will allow addresses from the other router to filter down, and then you will be on the same subnet as the other computers.
