My wife and I are currently looking to do some extra work from home to earn a little more cash each month. We have been searching the web for a few weeks and are having a lot of trouble finding any legitimate jobs. If anyone has any info or links to some reliable sites I would be much appreciated. We would like to do home mailers, or surveys or something of that nature. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to computers (except website stuff) so a job that requires that would also be acceptable.

Let me know what you guys know...

Thanks!

e-bay, google adsense whoring, poker, mturk.com.... pretty much the only ways i can of making money online short of going into any type of business venture.

my wife does Body Shop @ Home, she enjoys it and it can bring in quite a lot of cash depending how much time she has

I've never done it myself, but I know several people who DO make money playing poker online. They say that Sunday Morning is the best time to make a profit, if you know what you're doing. I merely pass this info along, no idea if it'll work for you.

Im not proficient in website related computer tasks, I m more of hardware, and tech sort of stuff, typing.....

You don't really need to be an HTML wiz because it's all about content.

I also vote start a web site, sell something or do some affiliate stuff, blog ... just something.

i wonder how many people here actualy makes money off their website. It takes a lot of time and effort to get to the point to where your website can make a profit and the content has to be good.

Poker can be quite good, though it's not terribly consistent.

If you have cash to bonuswhore/casinowhore it can be a nice extra source of money.

Yes, people do make money playing poker online, but I'm guessing the OP isn't looking for a "job" where they could "work" for a few hours and end up being -$. 🙂 I've made some extra money playing online, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you've been around the game for awhile.

It isn't easy in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, WOW. For instance one of my 50+ domains, XBoxPreorders.com has made a nice chunk of change. It doesn't really require any updating as the database updates directly from the vendors online database.

Why Sunday morning? All the good poker players are at church? 🙂

The only people that I've ever known who worked from home were people whose employers let them and they'd come into work once a week or so to drop stuff off and pick stuff up. I'm sure there are other things you could do, but I think they can be a bit shady. I'm sure you could do data entry or something like that from home?
