I wanted to post that some people are not better than animals but at least my cats know how to bathe themselves and the dog knows to go and shit outside. Seriously wtf is wrong with people. I can't fathom what kind of mindset one must have to allow the home to fall into such deplorable conditions. Those pictures were stomach turning

Talk to people who own and rent out Section 8 housing and you'll see that this is not at all uncommon. I've got a buddy who rented to a man who was a drug dealer on the side, lost a leg in a motorcycle accident and could not sell drugs or do his day job. He carried him for more than eight months, until he got his Social Security disability and could pay his back rent, because when you have good tenants and can avoid tenants like the one pictured, you jump through hoops to keep them.
