At least he's guaranteed not to be a repeat offender now.

And really, what the hell?

Indianapolis police Sgt. Matt Mount said Meyers had come into the home naked, except for a mask and latex gloves.
What, is getting undressed going to take too long?
Stupid, stupid people. It's a good thing criminals tend to be so stupid.

being naked is a pretty smart move if you are going to need to be. Many get caught for leaving things behind.

I'm assuming you're referring to the thread where the guy beat up the daughter's boyfriend, which has significant differences from this situation.

I thought everyone pretty much blamed the idiot boyfriend in that instance as well.

I think that the dad did the right thing, but I think anyone celebrating the death is a bit morbid. The dad acted appropriately, he protected his daughter and that's the way it should be. I seriously doubt that the dad is celebrating killing someone -- even if the person was a convicted douchebag rapist.

He's probably just grateful that he was there to protect his daughter.

You think that he did the right thing? :Q No shit?

ummm

"He had rope, had a knife, had condoms, had a gag," Mount said.

what do you think he was going to do with the knife? cut a cake? slice some tomatoes for sammiches?

as the father of 3 beautiful kids (two of which are girls) id try to keep the guy from my kids in any means necessary as well. it would be the right thing to do. as it was, he disarmed the guy and held him until police arrived. with that much adrenaline and anger, its not too surprising the guy choked out. once that dad calmed down i imagine he was devastated that he killed someone, but very happy it wasnt his daughter on the floor. im not celebrating the chomo's death, but im not sorry at all for it.

At least strangling him to death didn't make a bloody mess on the carpet.

Perfect post.

It's a dirty job, but somebody has to take out the trash. There is nothing wrong with celebrating the death of a scumbag like this. It makes most people feel good to know that this piece of crap has been taken off the street.

I half expected to come into this thread and see people saying how the intruder didn't deserve to die and that he was robbed of his opportunity to be tried by a jury.

That was awesome to hear. I hate pedophiles with a passion. I jump for joy at the death of any of them. There is no possible way to rehabilitate a pedophile. Not only that, this guy didn't only do this once. He was already in prison for another sexual type of assault. He would have continued to do this as long as he could. Now he can't, ever.
