I found a place that I can buy Benjanin Moore at a discount, so that's what I buy for exterior work, as well as Zinsser oil based High Hide Cover Stain. For interior, I use and off the shelf color from Sears. Always a very light eggshell (I forget the name). Off the shelf colors are almost never dark. The only rooms that get gloss or semi gloss are the kitchen and bathroom. The bathrooms also get Zinsser PERMA-WHITE®, Mold & Mildew-Proof Interior Paint.Originally posted by: Squisher
Good answers so far.
I'm a Benjamin Moore man myself.
This man is my hero--->masterhandyman.com. There is something spiritual about working on the house on saturday and sunday mornings and listening to him answer questions.
Not necessarily the thicker ones last the same amount of time as the thinner ones, but is better at soundproofing.1) Whats the difference between sheetrock and drywall? Nothing Any advantage to one over the other? The thicker, the better, but it gets freakin' heavy!
