i have been working out for years and years, been a personal trainer etc...i am 40 now and work from home and do not want to spend money on a gym nor the gas, when i can go into the next room and workout

i have a powertec multibench and the bowflex selecta dumbells (yeah craigslist)

I want to get a power rack/or smith machine and a lat pull down. powertec stuff is pretty decent, but i do not want to pay retail...

any other brands and places you guys can recommend? and yes, I have searched craigslist over and over...too many bowflex, and total bodies... no serious stuff in knoxville area that is not joe weider....i have to travel to atlanta...so, by the time i rent a truck, drive down there and back, i probably could have just gotten a new one and had it shipped and tax free.

looking for reputable outlets with good name brands.

I found this place called http://newyorkbarbells.tv/

anyone use them?

Thank you.

If you don't mind me asking, what'd you pay for those bowflex dumbbells? Those look fantastic, but knowing Bowflex the price is insane... also, what's their max weight?

i got them from a guy on craigslist...barely used they got up to 52.5 lbs...which is pretty good...i will need to get a couple of 65 and maybe some 75's I am not longer lifting very heavy...my old joints are not what they used to be.

i got them for 125..

that many sets of dumbbells (even used) would be much higher...they work great.
