Bought one of these from Lowes last Black Friday for $20. Hoping to get another this year.

Lovely, BUT it has 225LB load capacity which might be too low for some.

LOL.

PSA - Might want to be careful of being on a ladder too much if your pushing this capacity. I kid, I kid. :p

Actual capacity is far above the safety rating. Companies down-rate for liability reasons. The real capacity is probably almost double that 225lb.

Thanks for posting this. My wife and I are building a covered deck in the back of the house, and we will need another ladder to get the roof joist into place.

Lowes price matches. So I am going to print this out and bring the sale paper to lowes.

2nd on the real capacity. They figure most people just think "I weigh less than that" and then haul how many pounds of gear up the ladder with them. Then on top of that is the safety buffer.

Ladders with higher load ratings don't wobble as much.

Wow, that seems like the same ladder. I don't understand the difference.

The OPs ladder has free shipping.

The other link with the 34.00 ladder is in store pickup only.

I was being serious.

I don't think that 225+ is that uncommon of a weight in us of a.

One tip: get a paint shelf, preferably one that closes with the ladder. You won't regret it.
