@home and Linksys BEFSR41 router! need help!!!!

ok hi,
I just got @home and this new router. I cant seem to make it work!
i can go online fine with the cable modem hooked directly to the computer, but not with the router...hmm

I hooked up everythign exactly like it says (Computer ethernet->router port #2, router WAN->modem, modem->cable.)

It maybe i didn't enter the stuff correctly. so can someone please tell me what to put.

(all are fake figures/names)
It asks for:
Host Name:
Domain Name:
LAN IP: 192.168.1.1
255.255.255.0
Specify Ip: ___.___.___.___
Subnet Address: ___.___.___.___
DNS(required): 1#___.___.___.___
2#___.___.___.___

Password:

On my @home slip it has:
(fake figures)
Login: login
Password: password
SUB: word1.word2.home.com
PRI: 123.123.123.123
Sec: 456.456.456.456
DGA: 789.789.789.789
BA: 321.321.321.321
CIP: 654.654.654.654
NET: 255.255.255.0
HostName: 123456789-9

Can someone please tell me where to put these figures, ive tried so many and i cant think of any more.

Does @Home use MAC address authentication? If so, you may need to clone the MAC address of your network card in the Linksys.

Or, it could be a simple matter of:

1. Power down the cable modem for a few minutes, power back up.
2. Reset router.
3. Reboot computer.

Host Name: 123456789-9
Domain Name: word1.word2.home.com
LAN IP: 192.168.1.1
255.255.255.0

Leave the WAN IP address at "Obtain an IP Address Automatically". You don't need or want to fill in the IP, Subnet, gateway, etc.

Login: set to "Disable" and don't fill in any of these items. This is for PPoE which @home doesn't use (thankfully).

Hit "Apply". Switch to the Status tab to see if you have numbers. That should do it for you. Be sure to download the latest firmware from the Linksys site.

One thing that caused me problem was that it was hard to tell the difference on their form between a lowercase "l" and a number "1". My host name had both in it and I entered them both as the number 1.
