And spent countless man-hours staring at a progress bar. Optical media is cool for little shyt, but if you have MASSIVE stashes, you simply need to use hard drives.

its not so bad. its not as if u gotta stare at it while its burning. total actual time spent handling the backup is small. it does result in a horrible stack of discs u won't want to touch unless u gotta restore everything in one swoop though.

i had a 60gb hd die on me a few months back. haven't had the time to try the freezer trick yet.
about half of that was jp music videos, the other was jpop/jrock mp3s. 🙁

lol, the group "graduates" members, I guess after 16 they get too old to pass off as kiddie porn.

nakazawa yuko joined at age 24 and graduated at age 27/28
abe natsumi graduated at age 22
iida kaori graduated at age 23
ishiguro aya graduated at age 21
yasuda kei graduated at age 23
ishikawa rika graduated at 20

the current leader yoshizawa hitomi and sub leader fujimoto miki are 20.

amazingly enough, i haven't watched several of the more recent graduation concerts. i can't handle it, the few i've seen have left me a sobbing mess afterwards. 🙁
