Holy toe! I have a hole in my toe!

I went to Kalahari (a water resort) last week and went bonkers on their gigantic water slides. One of them is a 4 person race slide where you jump down a tube on your chest with a mat and they time you. Well, at the top of the tube, they have this drainage gate, and I caught my toes in it while jumping in. I got a scratch on my toe from it, and it bruised the other ones, but it was no big deal.

Now my second toe has a "mini-crater" in it and it itches like crazy. I'm stuck wearing dress shoes and we have a "no bare feet" policy at work so I can't let it breathe.

Moral of the story- Kalahari is a blast, but wear foot protection.

Is the water heated, or is it really warm enough to be at a water resort in WI?

It was in Ohio and it was 90F...the water wasn't COLD enough.

Flesh eating bacteria... just saying.

Isn't that like 4 hours and then death? he'd have never made it to work the next day to nef on ATOT.
it can take a lot longer than that.

it almost killed my father 2 years ago. It was doing its thing in him for a week before it got really serious.

Oh jeeze...it's nothing like that, it's just an itchy spot and a melon scoop scab maybe 1/8"

Not a hole, but you were able to rub off the skin from the top of the toe, but now that it is starting to get infected the outer ring of the rub down is swelling up making it look like a hole, hence why its looking kinda white, puss, and the outer ring is red, infection. I bet anything within a few days left untreated, or even treated, the ring will need to have the puss drained from it, then keep treating it and it will go away. I used to get that all the time on my toes, and knuckles when I was a kid and went to Water World in Mo, or did Jet skiing in FL with my shoes on and the few toe knuckles got worn off from my shoes and socks.
