i hate all those flavour variations and i also usually mix it but my drink of choice is whiskey

i used to drink straight up vodka when i was younger but after one too many puking incidents i really got turned off the taste...

I think Svedka is way more nasty than Smirnoff. That stuff tastes like mineral spirits smell.

I've never had any vodka more expensive than say $10.00 a fifth. Too poor. I suppose I could afford it these days but what's the point? Still gets me drunk regardless. I've gotten into the habbit of drinking 5 o'clock from the bottle and washing it down with water.

Is it me or when you dilute vodka with water half and half, the vodka tastes worse?

Yeah I sorta agree. I would probably drink beer but not nearly as often as I do now. I do like the taste of beer.

Give this man a drink since he knows his vodka. I f'ing hate Absolut and Skyy those vodkas have a lot of sugar in them to cover the vodka taste, to me they taste almost like syrup. I drink mostly Smirnoff, followed by Finlandia... I have yet to see my dad or any of our Russian friends drink Absolut/Skyy/Belvi/Goose/Chopin....

If you really want to know what true vodka is supposed to taste like try Russian Standard Platinum, I have several bottles I got while in Russia... and that stuff is better than 99% of vodkas here in the US.

Wrong, try russian standard, one of the smoothest vodkas out there.
