Holy Smokes, Mos Def is on Dexter tonight

I saw MOS-DEF about 2 years ago in Fairview Heights, IL.

I was walking out of the AT&T store and saw a black hummer parked next to my car. I had a black z4, lowered, with 19" wheels on it, so I know my car stood out. As I was walking up, this guy in the hummer says 'nice car, hope you don't mind that i parked next to it'. I laughed and said he had a nice ride too.

Then I realized I'd seen this dude before, and when I got into my car I realized it was Mos-DEF.

Sure enough, I got online when I got ome and he was in St. Louis for a concert later that night. Fairview Heights is about 15 minutes across the Mississippi river in Illinois and if he was staying downtown, that AT&T store would have been the closest/easiest store to go to.
 
I really liked Mos Def as Ford Prefect, I think he had the role down pat. Looking forward to watching this season of Dexter even more now...

Was just about to start with "I don't know his music..." too. 😀

Didn't know the dude was Mos Def the musician...I heard the name but not the music. I thought he was a solid on Dex last night...not emmy quality but not a bad casting choice either.
