never cared for the sound of energy, but a good deal. If you like your music on the bright side, then these may be the speaker for you. You might want to listen to them first tho.

Yea, they are going to be the best 99$ booshelfs you may ever find. As far as liking them, any speaker is personal preference. I have a Energy Take system and dont like the sats for fronts but love the FPS for fronts/center.

Great set of speakers for the budget-conscious. Cannot be beat for $99 shipped.

Dammit I wanted to wait to buy speakers. But I figure I can use these for surrounds if I buy some towers later. Too bad the C300s are so hard to find now.

I would guess they would match -- they both have a 1" aluminum dome tweeter, which is the important point.

The main difference seems to be in woofers: 2x4.5" or 2x5.5". The C-C100 claims around 10Hz lower frequency response. It won't matter much if you're using a subwoofer, I would guess.
