The one's around Boston are hilarious. They spend lots of time on the Prudential Center (2nd tallest building in boston) and sometimes when you're walking by feathers start to drop down and you know they just killed another bird 🙂

A coworker of mine released a couple of Coopers Hawks near my work (they were attacking his chickens and phesents), those suckers are mean.

...birds. The fastest mammal on the planet.

You weren't a biology major, I hope.

Actually, I knew it was a mistype. I was hoping for some laughter. 🙂

How about:
The fastest animal on the planet? Happy?

And btw: Nope....no biology here. Can't stand dissection. 😉

I saw a show where a guy jumped out of a baloon with a decoy (prey to a trained falcon) with a five second headstart. The hawk cruised by the freefaller like he was standing still and grabbed the decoy.

I believe that is the fastest bird in the world. Can't it go over 150mph or something?

Wow, that's crazy. How strong are they?
Actually they have been clocked at over 200mph! They have wings that are designed for the "swoop" which is what they call their dive from above hunting technique. Their chest muscles are VERY well developed.
