with the lack of quality centers in the league, i wasn't surprised by Yao Ming's performances recently. He's getting used to the american game and his teammates are learning to trust him more, especially Steve Francis. The real measuring stick will be how he performs against guys like Vlade Divac, Dikembe Mutombo, and of course, Shaquille O Neal.

Shawn Bradley wasnt on him that much, he got into foul trouble early. Dallas uses various zone defenses, so they are almost always double teaming someone. Yao is good on offense, but come on he made some bad moves on defense, sure he blocked a couple, but he let Nash just float up a finger roll, right in front of him, he didnt do anything. Then Najara, whos not much of an offensive player, more of an elbower and a flopper, scored 14 with Yao guarding him.

The right spelling is "Najera", and he is the 4th scorer in Dallas (he was the top player in Oklahoma) .... so he is not only in the defense.
