I had a friend that I grew up with, she was just about my best friend my whole life till I was 12. Her & her mom moved away and I completely lost contact with her, pretty much immediately.


Fast forward to tonight, I'm looking for someone I had class with on facebook, and in the middle of the list the girl I was friends with as a kid is there. This is actually the 2nd time I found a long lost friend because of the intarweb.


I feel so weird right now lol
 
Same thing happened to me on Facebook

I logged on one morning and this girl I was play buddies with as a baby and was friends with up until she moved when I was 7 had added me.

Damn, she looks GORGEOUS now!
 
I found one of my old friends, who I lost 30 years ago. As soon as he found I'd posted about it here, he took his website down. 🙁

i was 12 also and his name was Tom. he had a brother that my sister liked too, and then they just upped and moved to Nevada. we wrote a few times back and forth but then our friendship just faded away. he will always have a place in my heart. the couple of summers i spent with him bike riding, going to the beach, playing tag after dark....seemed to go on forever. good times. 🙂

We were really just friends, although when we were 8 she used to tease me about how we would be going on 'dates' and I'd run away screaming about cooties or something 🙂

It feels good to hear from her again, like I made a connection with a lost part of my life...she's really the only person from back then that I know now.
