If anyone plays Eve, there is a server attack going on now.

50 Stargates were shut down within Minutes

It's rather exciting. I've never experienced this.

For others who don't play, and in an effort not to get deleted, how does someone have the capability to bring entire games down? It would take alot of computers to generate the zombie computers wouldn't it?

No. The Entire system started to lag. market doesn't work. Docking takes forever. Now, individual Stargate's are being shut down. There are only 10k people on now. It has to be an attack.

Just something that takes you from One place to another. They are REQUIRED for travel. Without them, your travel time gets exponentially larger. I'm not even sure its possible
to travel. without them

Edit- Nah, the Ori in this game are the"good guys" Concord. These guy have Frigates that can take down capital ships. And they outnumber us by like 100000:1. You do something wrong, they kill you within minutes.

Yeah...i have no f'in clue. I don't know what stargates are or CCP is. Hell, I'm not even sure what "EVE" is. 🙂
 
EVE is a MMORPG in space. Pretty fun game but not for everybody. Looks like TenShodo is a newer player so she may not know that its probably not due to an attack but more likely due to server load issues or they're having problems with one of their line providers. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Been playing the game for a while myself perhaps I'll post some pics of my Heavy Assault Cruisers, Assault Frigates, Stealth Bombers, Battleships and Command Ships 🙂. Next up for me is the Moros which is the Gallente Dreadnaught class ship.

EVE-Online game server cluster borked, so they were having issues and they rebooted. OP freaked out, thought there was some kind of attack going on.
