Humble apologies to the ATOT Gods if this is a repost.

I don't remember much of public school, but I'm about 99% sure the mexican pizzas and chicken patties were not made fresh in the school kitchen. I also don't recall mussels and escargot ever being on the menu.

Damn you cheese eating surrender monkeys! All that time spent hiding from Germans apparently helped you develop a far superior lunch meal for the youth.

Its sad that we don't feed our kids good, freshly made food in schools. Instead we serve them processed, microwaved food that meets (arguably) the bare minimum specs.
Its disgusting. My kids will never eat a school lunch. Brown bag it.

Oh and talk to this guy about it:

Unless, of course, your school district chooses to ban outside food "For the Protection Of The Children...
and because they like to pad their 6 figure salaries with even more money in kickbacks from the concession company.

I watched his show the other day when it was on, Food Revolution. Really makes you wonder what the school board is hiding that they wont even allow him to look inside the cafeteria let alone go inside it or the kitchen

Thanks to France not having a commercially-driven, industrialized food industry. It's probably organic and locally sourced.

Damn Europeans and their idiocy!

Let's not get carried away. There's plenty wrong with France and Europe as a whole. But school lunch in France is not one of them.
