Was going to pick up a gallon last night from a super walmart and every single gallon was $4.80something....

Since when are cows endangered species?

$1.89 for a gallon last week, probably one of the only good things about upstate NY.

Why does Parmalat cost like 50% more than regular milk?
Shouldn't it be cheaper since you don't need to refrigerate?

Its because we need all thoes gosh damned milk adds. Mean really anyone else notice the rise in milk price after they started the adds. I remeber less then a dollar a gallon and almost everything made needs milk of some sorts so I dont understand the high cost. I have 2 kids and milk is slowing going to be taken out of their diets if it gets much higher.

Cut out the adds IMO and lower the price of milk and they will sell more.

I always look for deals. It normally runs for $3.39 here but someone is always running a "2 for $5" or similar deal.

What you got was rat milk.

How do you milk a rat?

how do buy a gallon of milk for $1.89?

Have you never seen a milked rat?

You can milk anything with a nipple

Milk (a gallon) is more expensive than a gallon of gas.... (waiting for someone to tell me that the comparison in invalid, because we use MUCH less milk than gas and how gas is essential for our economy, etc.)

The price fluctuates quite a bit depending mostly on where you shop, but I've never see it for more than $3.20(local carters) or so. In fact just got it on sale for $1.89(Horrocks), normal price is $2.24(walmart).

I pay $3. If it hit $5/gallon I'd pay a jaw-dropping $6 extra/month, which would totally put me in the poor house. OMG! ;)

I see what you're saying, but after the gas price hike has cost me $45/month in the past little while it would be nice for milk to go up, because it would be so almost meaningless.

Does a Simpsons episode count?

funny ep...homer works for the mob or the mayor, right?

The episode where Homer becomes the mayor's bodyguard. Goes with the mayor to do a deal with the mob and sees the mob's rat milking factory. Hi-larious episode.
