Holy Schmoley!!!!! This is one sweet ass home theatre case!!!!

Nothing special about that case. Standard ATX desktop case with aluminum chassis. It's expensive because it's being produced in small numbers.

All it takes to lower prices to under $150 is a major case manufacturer to recognize the potential in the desktop and slim desktop form factors, and manufacture such cases in bulk.

it's actually a very good idea...well implemented i might add!

edit: it would fit well between my krell monoblocks 😛

[sarcasm] Yeah, you seem them everywhere, it's a normal case [/sarcasm]

It's also expensive because it has a solid aluminum face plate that has been anodized. Quit thread crapping!

<< damn... thats cool... but $200... damn... >>

Well look at it this way. Could you bild one for less? I bet if they had an order for 10K units that the costs would go wayyyyyyyyyy down.

Great idea.

Well from the looks of the case originally linked I think it could be used to house Radioactive Material and your valuable document as it looks like it would be fireproof too.

Here's another interesting case/system

Here's how it would look with your entertainment system

That is cool but unfortunately you wouldn't be able to put an AGP card in that baby. Nice for a lan party machine with an Nforce mobo. 🙂

The problem with the PC Power & Cooling is no TV-out so you must either have a TV with VGA-in or buy a separate VGA converter box.

Those HTCC cases do look sweet, and notice it holds a full size mobo (not just mATX) and takes standard power supplies so you can put in a Silencer or Enermax Whisper for low-noise.

It's way overkill compared to a $70 standard desktop case, but looks so much better it's hard to resist 🙂

😕

I'm sorry.... since when do you take part of your home entertainment system to LAN parties?

😱

<< check this out a DVD player?? >>

For $2500.00 it better do more than just entertain you in the living room.

They have an option for a Geforce2 MXX. They use a low profile AGP riser or a Low profile PCI Riser. They will do the modification for the Video Port and I'm sure they will for a SVideo or Composite Video Port too. For $1400.00 they better🙂

Of course with a wall bracket mount that would be a perfect system for the Crapper. Just add a Wall Mounted LCD and you can poop and surf at the same time.

SWEET! That's exactly what I've looked for in a case and never found!

It's about time somebody figured out that there's a market for a home theater component sized case.

😀 😀 😀

<< Nice!!! One of the best one I've seen(including pure HTPC ones) too bad mATX. >>

Actually it says it will take a regular ATX Motherboard too.

There is a solid black versions of that Cooler Master case floating around, don't have a link for it though.
