Holy S*$t~! Lightening just struck the light pole outside of my house....

We having a nice little afternoon thunderstorm, and lightening is hitting all around - I stood up to look outside my window, and lighting struck the light pole outside of my house :Q I think the bolt flash has burned into my retina, every time i blink I see it The top of the pole looks a little black........

It was pretty loud too, scared the sh!t out of my cat. Definitely something that'll wake you up, if it doesn't kill you first.........

I wonder, should I call the power company and let them know that the light is probably fried?

Happens often where I am. Well hits the hydro pole. The transformer has blown a few times too. Big green flash of light.. Pretty cool if you ask me.
