a new QB wont save Buff, they need so much more help then 1 dude
Buffalo needs defensive help. I think they stick with Fitzpatrick

Your defense of Vince Young is funny, but let me cut to the chase here. The bottom line is that regardless of who is at fault -- Young needs a change of scenery.
Also, as Fingolfin said, VY is not a $12 million/yr QB. That probably factored into his decision more than anything.

I already pointed out that the "good call" by the notoriously cheap owner was due to the fact that Young's contract was about to expire and Fisher's had more years left on it. That is what the decision was made for, yet people took it as some sort of validation of Young being all the things Fisher claimed he was.
Listen, you apparently do not realize that the NFL is a BUSINESS. Young, simply put, is bad for business. He's an overpaid cry baby. He is NOT worth the effort or time. The Titans need a real QB who is level headed and can simply play the game. Fisher is Vince Youngs manager. Would you run out of a meeting at work because your manager pulled you off a project? Would you get fired for assaulting someone at a strip club? He has screwed up at least 3-4 times in 2 seasons!
The Wonderlic scores ARE important. He scored a 6 and I think his immaturity and lack of intelligence has shown it's true colors, time and time again. The Titans don't care if he wins if they keep having to baby sit this "professional" who would be paid TWELEVE MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. Are you freaking kidding me? Vince Young needs to GROW UP and act like an adult.
There are far more deserving QBs who will act like adults and not little brats because they don't get their way.He should flourishes because he's GOOD, not because he's cuddled and praised by his team after every game..... This is a business, grow up Vince. He couldn't even go 1 year without Drama.
elbryn said:A source told me the vast majority of Titans players had grown frustrated with Young's repeated maturity issues, and he still hadn't progressed to the point where he could seamlessly call plays in the huddle, or commit himself to the work and preparation required of an NFL starting quarterback. Adams was made aware of how widespread the rest of the locker room felt hamstrung and held back by Young's lack of development.
"The fact that he still has a hard time calling plays in the huddle, that's a problem for us," a Titans source said. "There's not indifference here about Vince. There's some serious animosity. A lot of guys would want out of here if he came back. Everyone knows he's the guy who's supposed to drive the car, he's supposed to be our leader. But he doesn't do the things you have to have your quarterback do. Guys can't trust him. Even after all this time. It had to start with not having No. 10 back here."
The Dolphin's need to go after VY - he'd fit their system perfectly. I'm not as hard on VY as it seems everyone else is, though I think he needs to grow a pair and man up. I'd still rather have him than 75% of the QBs in the NFL.
Young's behavior made him not worth the $12 million, not the other way around (ie, the $12 million made him expendable regardless of how he performed). If he had Brady or Manning's demeanor, he would not have been canned.
What behavior? The huge comeback last season from the winless start? The AFC leading passing efficiency this season before getting injured? Or the "pads in the stands" which is nothing but baloney? The only thing you can point to was him blowing up at Fisher for not letting him play even though he was throwing spirals on the sideline. You don't think Manning or Brady would have had words if they were in the same situation? If so, you are crazy. They are intense competitors, but have had the "luxury" of having coaches who weren't trying to exact personal vendettas against them.
If Young had more years on his contract and Fisher's was due to expire Bud Adams would have went the other way. But because that did not happen, it is now just pile on VY season.

I remember it and I saw the tape. Seemed minor and no charges were filed, just a citation and a $500 fine. Its not like he was murdering dogs or raping girls. If citations are the standard by which players should be cut from a team that is kind of tough.
i'll give you that VY has a winning record. the guy knows how to win but he's got so many other problems that just makes him unprofessional to the point where his team was growing tired. i think a change in venue can be great for him.
You shut your whore mouth! 😛
If the Dolphins pick up Vince Young, I'm officially a Patriots fan.*
* I thought about writing "Jets fan," but the mere thought caused me to become nauseated and nearly throw up on my keyboard.
If it was me, I would get rid of both VY and Fisher. 16 years is too long, the team needs a change of scenery too, and a new HC would be good for Tennessee.
Anybody would be better for the Dolphins then what you have. IF you would truly become a pats fan just because of that, then you were never a Dolphins fan in the first place.
EDIT: The Broncos are going through some very rough times too, and getting rid of Cutler still pisses me off to this day - and I am a bears fan (always liked the bears any way) more now because of that trade. But I will always be a Broncos fan first because its in my blood - and what you are saying would be like the equivalent of me becoming a Raiders fan instead. I'd rather the CBA never get signed and never have football again then become a Raiders fan.
Denver is in an interesting situation. They could probably get a fairly high draft pick if they decided to trade Orton. But do they trust Tebow and Quinn enough?
Sacto, that's more of a sign that the OC needs to be replaced. I guess with him now going through chemo that might be a little un-PC though.
Also, do your rushing statistics include VY's attempts?
I think if we had a QB who could have opened it up with Moss, Britt, Gage and Washington, it would make our running game even better.
Moss is a joke, you would be smart to cut your losses with him now
And frankly, the titans don't have a single #1 receiver. Britt looks like one at times, but ultimately falls short. You will need a clear #1 receiver as well as the QB to be on the level of the elite teams.

Britt just completed his second season. He will be a stud next year assuming we have someone worth a damn at qb.
BTW who was the clear #1 receiver for the saints last season?
