My right hand measures 8 & 1/4" from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the pinky at maximal extension. Left hand reaches 8 & 1/2" as is opens into a slightly wider angle. I find it hard to believe the average is 7.5" (mentioned in the picture) as I have small hands and rather short fingers. Maybe I'm measuring the wrong thing.

Also, his hands are 52% wider than average, but hes also 9" taller than average. That surely has a lot to do with it. How does he compare to other players?
 
How is their method of measurement 'hand size' and not 'amount of flexibility in a arbitrary dimension'? Science fail.
 
My wife likes to say I have Shrek hands, so I showed her this link as a Ha HA!

She just came back with a tape measure. 10.25" here.

I'm not sure where that leaves us.
