Israel attacks only in retaliation to the bloody, murderous and heinous acts perpetrated by these terrorists - and that is EXACTLY what they are. That is a start, but where does the peace process lead to. The Palestinians want to be an independant nation, what will happen to all the Israeli settlers then? will they migrate into this new Palestinian state or will they go back to Israel?
 
If the suicide bombings were to stop, Israel would stop firing missiles at security buildings and stop going into the refugee camps looking for militants.

I have one thing to say, if the Palestinian/Arab extremist groups cared about the innocent civilian Palestinians getting killed they would not hide out in residential Palestinian areas as civilians. They also would not send their suicide bombers in to blatantly civilian quarters (pizza shops, discos, etc.) as civilians to do their dirty work. How is Israel supposed to tell the difference? They have to find the terrorists and if that means alleged innocent Palestinians die in the pursuit of these known terrorists, what are they supposed to do, stop and accept more terrorism? The Palestinian extremist groups need Palestinian civilians to die, how else would they get sympathy? They use it as an excuse to retaliate against the Israeli retaliation. They use it as propaganda to gain sympathy and an excuse to continue their terrorist pursuits.

Lets try to keep this civil and discuss this instead of flaming one another.

Ok, lets say that there would be peace for one week like Sharon wants. Do you think that Sharon means that peace would come with the Isreali militery in the Palestinian lands or not?
 
I think the problem is that the Israel government is terrified that if they don't retaliate for every suicide bombing, the bombings will just become more frequent and more deadly. Whether that's true or not, that's another question.

Maybe so, but after viewing the last few days then by retaliate to every suicide bombing with more and more force like they have done results in just more and more retaliations by the Palestinian terrorists. So the way they are currently doing it isnt working, what other options do they have?

Showing a picture of israeli who has been seriously hurt/killed by palestinian terrorist justifies the eradiction of palestinians. If I showed a picture of palestinian who was killed by israeli, would it mean that it gives the right to exterminate israelis? If it doesn't, then you have double-standards. Maybe palestinians should "smack israelis down"?
 
they aren't using "more force" at all. only when palestinians suffer crippling casualties for infractions will it stop. They are willing to pay the current price.. a very cheap price indeed in their eyes. israel needs to empty the west bank into the gaza strip. they got more land and more rights for what? terrorising and killing at the olympics, hijacking planes and general mayhem against civs? screw them the land should be taken back as punishment. if you say that'll make em madder, so what? they are always mad, religiously mad.

You need to learn more about the history of the conflict. You only see "those palestinian terrorists" killing people, but you obviously are blind to the atrocities committed by the other side. Like I said, both sides have plenty of blood in their hands.

no double standard at all. The palestinians choose their path of evil and violence. They could have chosen the path of ghandi, of dr king, but instead decided that the price for revenge was worth the destruction of any future for their children. They are the people that teach their children hate, they have trading cards with suicide bombers for their children to have as role models. These people long ago decided that any means was justified, and that all israelis or infidels were equal targets in war. they declared that children and women were legitimate targets. This rings of hitler at best, and it is onyl that they lack power that damage has not been done. They are not reasonable people, they don't want peace, they damn every chance at peace that they get. I have no sympathy for these people.

They are the ones that turned an olympics into a blood bath for gods sake, even hitler kept his hands off that.
