I download uncompressed sound files that my friends share with each other. Each file is 200mb+. If one person edits it and has to send it back it adds up to several gigs in a day easily. When I was in college it was raw photos that would easily be several gigs per zip folder.

Bandwidth limit apologists are some sorryass people. Guilty until proven innocent. Its okay to fuck it up for legitimate people because kids download pirated things off the internet.

powerboost is only good for the first 10megs of a file. if you d/l a large file and the d/l is still good then you can tell.
once you go over the limit powerboost turns off.

unless you have their blast serice which is a 20meg down with no powerboost.

i downloaded a 400 meg file and i was getting 1.5-1.8meg for the enitre file.
