Because they know cheap a$$hats that don't tip call then...

Like I said, you GET A PAYCHECK. If you want more money, GET ANOTHER ONE or GET A DIFFERENT ONE.

Yeah, he's a troll, but everytime someone quotes you saying something like that it makes me think "Geez, what kind of person is Nik? How could he say that...."

That would make sense if the place was closed all day, but who wants to break their long weekend in half by working 4pm to 11pm on one of their off days?

Well if you'd read the entire thread, it's well explained and well defended by lots of other folks (read: folks who aren't greedy asshats) who also participated.

I call.

They're closed.

What... the fvck.

Who the hell owns a Dominos Pizza that delivers but is CLOSED ON FRIDAYS?! What the hell.

That is pretty stupid. Take them all to the olive garden. Soup and salad is cheap and good.

i meant that with businesses losing more people on fridays, dominos might have figured they'd just open on friday nights instead of including lunch hours.

So call up some local mom and pop pizza joint. They usually have better pizza anyway.

I like how Nik is trying to buy lunch for people, and everyone here is being a jerk to him.
He doesn't believe in tipping Unless he thinks it is deserved. And even then he may not leave a generous tip compared to other people Fine, bitch about it in that thread.
He doesn't like people posting crap in the wrong forum, neither do I, It's annoying!

Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly care for Dominos, but it's free lunch for "his crew". I'm sure they would appreciate it even if it wasn't Lou Malnatis or Gino's East. I know I'd be happy with a free lunch.

Nik, I'd say that the owner there probably is having staffing problems of some sort. Hope you found another place to get pizza near bye. Perhaps a local non-chain pizza joint exists in your area with a delivery service?

EDITED for inaccuracies.

Well, there is one that's really really good and RossMAN linked to it earlier in this thread. I just completely forgot about the place. I'd already ordered when RossMAN posted the link. *kicks himself* Oh well. Next time. :)

<edit>
Oh, and I never said that I don't believe in tipping. Read the thread. I actually said quite the opposite lol -people can't seem to understand the concept of "deserve".

Huh. Do they open at 4 p.m. every weekday? A non-chain pizza place by my college opened at 5:00 every day, including weekends. I guess dinner is a bigger pizza meal than lunch.

Nah, as stated previously in this thread twice already, they're open early Monday through Thursday which is what makes Friday's late opening odd.

I know what you mean. The good aircooled VW parts place here closes at 5 during the week. On Saturday he's only open until 1PM, and not at all on Sunday. It makes it such a hassle to go there that I buy much of my stuff online instead.

They might get their weekly shipments in and do inventory Friday morning. When I worked at a food joint we did it Thursday night.

Actually, that makes perfect sense.

I should walk over there with a dirty sleeveless vest, jeans with holes, and a ball cap backwards. I'll slip in line pretending to be "one of the guys" who's helping them unload and conveniently walk away with a case of drinks or something. :D :p

The dominoes in my area doesn't even have a place to sit. They're entire business is centered around ordering and delivering.

Should have gone to Pizza Hut or Little Caesars!

The PapaJohns near my house is like that. Then again, they don't bake their pizzas and they don't deliver so :p
