While my PC was running I opened my case door to find my system covered by dust, I decided to use compressed air to clean it up, I had this Falcon Dust-off can, first I "shot" the CPU fan and heatsink, then the motherboard, then I had to flip the can upside-down to reach the video card, I pressed the button on the can but instead of air, cool liquid was shot from the can directly into the video card! The system was on, I checked the monitor, it was still showing the desktop, but the mouse cursor didn't move, the system freezed! I was scared to death, I thought I've lost my Pro. I immediately took off the power cable, and shot dry air on the video card to remove any liquid, then after 5 minutes I turned on my PC, and it ran fine, thank god. Now everything is working fine, I've tried all the games and everything's working.
So I thought I could share my little experience with you and warn you of flipping a compressed air can before using it, anyway I was stupid enough to keep my system on while cleaning.

yeah dood simple physics. Compressed air cools down as it expands and if it is very humid in your room/rig then this will condense some of the moisture in the air and hence liquid. So make sure you only do this on a dry day with your rig off.

But the air in my room isn't humid at all! And I think the cause of the liquid is because I flipped the can upside down, everytime I use it like that liquid comes out of it instead of air.

edit: OMG, you got one hellova system! Look at your 3DMark results and your Pro clocks!

No it's not condensation, that's the stuff they use inside the can to make the compressed "air". It's not really air.

That stuff is cool to kill spiders with. Turn the can upside down and freeze 'em while they're climbing the walls. It's like your own personal freeze ray.

I thought most people knew about that stuff. There should also be big warnings on the can about not turning the can upside down.

lol about the spider trick, does it really work?
And yeah, they said I should use the can UPRIGHT in the directions written on a small little corner, but there is no big warning, that's why I haven't seen this before.

lol i told my friend to shoot himself with the can tipped upsidedown now that was funny but yeah its the stuff inside the can causing the chemical reaction to produce the pressure
