hamas is the aggressor? lol

Yes.

After WWI the Ottoman Empire was broken up, and the British given mandate over Transjordan, which includes the modern day territories of Israel and Jordan.

The Ottoman Empire sided with the aggressors in WWI, and as a result, land was taken from them after their defeat.

After WWII the British gave up their mandate and with the League of Nations drafted a plan for a Palestinian state and an Israeli state. The Israeli state was only about 15% of the original plan.

Immediately after the Israeli state claimed independence, it was attacked from all sides in the Arab Israeli war. Israel lost 1% of her population, but repelled the invasion and claimed land from Palestine.

In 1967 Egypt blockaded Israel and amassed an invasion force on the Israeli border. Having already been attacked from all sides once, Israel struck first and defeated Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, along with Arabic troops from several other nations, capturing the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights, and the West Bank.

Every Palestinian loss of land has come as the result of aggression, all the way back to the Ottoman Empire.

So yes, they attacked in the past and had land taken from them when they were driven back. Now they want it back.

If the British landed in Boston Harbor tomorrow and began launching rockets into the city, they too would be the aggressors.

Edited to say:

I'm not saying Israel has the moral high ground.

I'm simply saying that in war, to the victor goes the spoils, and that includes land.

Trying to take back spoils of war will always result in another war.

You mean the losers.

Different groups have controlled the land that is currently called Palestine. Who has a greater right to it?
Thank you for the history lesson. I do understand that the patch of land has been inhabitant by many group of people & religions but it doesn't give the allies the right to dumped the Jew there.

Similarly, I'm sure that the US populace would be happy if for some reason the Mexican decided to dump their Pueblo Indians out of their Northern states into New Mexico as newly created Pueblo nation.

IMHO Arab nations attacked Israel in the past is because they are angry by the fact that their brother are losing their land. And, it is difficult for them to provide for the immigrants that keep streaming into their countries. Just like the allies didn't want Jews to immigrate into their nations.

The only reason that the US took in the Vietnamese immigrant is because they feel obliged to take in their sympathizers, and because most Vietnamese that taken in are Roman Catholic. While no one wanted extremist Jews nor Muslims in their country.

They look like Hamas militants, and they were parading. If so, some Israeli pilot hit the jackpot.

Does he look like a fucking militant to you?

Shove it (to all the haters). I've been there, I've seen shit. Gaza City is one of the most densely populated areas on the entire fucking planet. Carpet-bombing it is a guaranteed way to kill tons of innocent civilians.

Having the civilians allow hamas to base their rocket attacks and store their weapons in residential areas is another way to guarantee civilian deaths.

If I was a civilian and there was some military equipment nearby, I would get the hell out of dodge, but that's just me.
