Well, it's humid as hell here, and there's an insect flying about my room. 2 windows open, and one little bug flying about. To preface this, bugs and snakes and spiders really freak me out. So I follow it around the room frozen in fear until I see the light I have on. There were literally a hundred of the little fvcker's. So I run and grab the can of Off! spray I have, and started spraying. All over the place, even on to the light. I was in a frenzy. But the amazing thing was, the bug spray killed or paralyzed the bugs. They fell to the floor and I mopped them up. Then I thought, "Oh fvck! Highly flammable bug spray and a hot light!" Luckily I haven't exploded yet, but I was scared shitless.

Life lessons: Bugs are freaky. Bug spray is very useful. Keep it away from lights. Makes a good ice rink on Pergo flooring.

alkemyst, having over ten thousand posts in a forum full of geeks doesn't exactly give you the credentials to tell anyone to get a girlfriend or boyfriend.

get one of those bed/tent screen things. You hang it over your bed and it keeps buggies out 🙂
 
Start up a vacuum, pull off hose attachments, suck the lil buggers up a'la David Spade in Tommy Boy?

Problem solved..at least for the moment, till they replenish their numbers.
