Holy crap.....thunder just made my home shake...

It was raining earlier today, but it's stoppped. Twice lightning flashed as about 3-5 seconds later thunder rumbled for about 10 seconds, shaking my home. It wasn't like a crash/explosion of thunder....real slow and long. Dang...

It was freaky, because it got more intense around the 4-5 second...

We had lightning strike our pool pump last year while i was sitting 30 feet away in the kitchen. Needless to say i couldnt hear well for about 3 days. 😀

I'm originally from Detroit... No, it's not an uncommon experience.

I now live in Portland, OR... And I really miss the t-storms. There's something so awesome in the power of the storm, yet so serine.

Yea, i pretty much thought i was going to when i saw the fringes of the bolt wrap around the side of the pool area going towards where i was sitting. Kinda too bright to stare at long though if ya ask me 😀

darn, the time between lightning and thunder is getting more distant. I was kinda curious as to how loud it would get....

The day my 19" 900NF monitor came in it began to storm. I had plugged it in to see it. Lightning stuck a transformer or something because there was a huge bang, and my monitor screen turned purple. I quickly turned it off and almost shiz my pants. I turned it back on but it was Ok though.
