Holy Crap the Steam Font Is UGLY

Is it possible to change it? There's a lot of great changes with CS 1.6, but this ingame font is soooo ugly and big, anyone got any ideas?

I remember editing my entire GUI with CS 1.5. I don't remember how anymore though :-/

It was through the .tga's though from what I remember.

try C:/wherever you installed steam/steamapps/your email/counterstrike/cstrike and look through there

I thought the font size was too large too. I just upped the resolution to make it llok smaller...

Go to the directory X:\Steam\Skins and create a new directory Green
In the directory X:\Steam find the folders Resource, Steam and Servers and copy them (not move) to X:\Steam\Skins\Green
Edit the file X:\Steam\Skins\Green\Resource\TrackerScheme.res
Search for EngineFont(Say-Text) and change the font-type(name) and -size(tall) (yres specifies in what resolution the font is used)

Search for Legacy_CreditsFont(Plugin-/BuyMenu-Text) and change the font-type(name) and -size(tall):

Save the changes and start Steam and change to the new skin Green

I think CSNATION has some skins, although I'm not sure that will change the text.

I got that from some website, and it works. You can probably edit the TrackerScheme.res directly without creating another skin, but havent tired it yet though.
