Imagine if, in real life, you walk into a room that has "Kids in the Hall discussion!" on the door. You proclaim you have no idea what the topic is and that you are disinterested. And stand there for a couple days. And start all over. Have you bothered to watch any clips?

Watched one yesterday and though it was seriously lacking...

I would prefer the older reruns of Saturday Night Live with John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd , Chevy Chase, .....

pro-tip: they're both Lorne Michaels productions, and some have overlapped in the cast (McKinney was in SNL for a few years...sorta one of the shittier casts. Early Will Farrell, when Chris Elliot was tragically misused).

They're quite similar. Kids in the Hall are just weirder, and also have the benefit of editing and curating of sketches...not just cramming out stuff at the last minute and hope it sticks, (a Lorne Michaels description of why SNL usually doesn't land, and has always bene that way...especially in your generally un-funny "Belushi years")

We're not new to this whole Internet forum game we're all playing. Your post was to trivialize something you don't like while attempting to come off as unknowing/innocent. It was a checkers level play in a game of chess.

I was always more if a UCB guy but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I liked Upright Citizen's Brigade too. Mr Show was also hilarious, and though it wasn't a sketch comedy show, 'Strangers With Candy' was around that same era and was also funny as hell. Don't forget 'The Whitest Kids U Know'. They were all good humor, imo.

Don't mind @pcgeek11 btw...he's obviously old and crusty with no sense of humor. He also weirdly felt the need to come in the thread and state how he never watched it and still talk shit about it. Typical uninformed opinion...shocker from a clown.

I've watched the first 2 episodes so far. It's really quite good. I mean...I'm just dying. Gonna slow roll this one. I'm super surprised how good it is.
