Variety reports that the third "Terminator" film has its script all ready and waiting to be filmed, and star Schwarzenegger eager to get going - thus a Spring or Summer start of shooting looks set to happen. Details are still being finalised but the film's initial budget estimate looks like it'll come in at $160 million - beating the $135 million record set by "Pearl Harbor" ("Titanic" wound up costing $200 million but initially it was only estimating a cost at just over half that).

Can you say "eye candy"? Mmm, mmm, good.

Plus . . .

The BBFC reports that the first LOTR film has scored a PG rating in the UK, won't undergo any edits, and also finally give us a proper running time - a lengthy 2hrs 58mins.

Can you say "intermission"?

Also there have been rumors that David Twohy has become attached to direct and write ALIEN VS PREDATOR. We've seen these pop up in a few places. It seems that my sources at Fox have told me that these rumors might very well be true. It seems that Fox and Davis Entertainment have approached David Twohy to completely rework the project for them. There has yet to be a deal worked out, but apparently Twohy is working up his take and the folks at Fox are anxious to hear that. So, we'll have to wait and see wait happens with that!

It sounds to good to be true . . . gosh I hope it's true. :D

Cool! An ALIENS Versus Predator movie has been in the works off and on for the last three or four years at least, I am glad that they finally appear to be moving with the project. :D

T3 makes me literally weak at the knees, and LOTR finishes me and drops me to the ground in throws of heated passion.

Nope. Unsubstantiated Internet rumor. No casting has been made beyond Edward Furlong and Arnie.

And for the guy who wanted links, check out www.darkhorizons.com. One of the best movie news sites on the 'net, period.

Vin Diesel hasn't officially been cast, ie, there's been no press release or announcement. Hopefully it will come to fruition, cause I'd love to see him kick Arnie's ass. ;)

lol, you know arnie's not gonna take any sh!t.

T3 is long awaited by me. i never thought they would actually go through with it. Alien vs. Predator would be cool if they can pull it off decently. LOTR is just waiting in the wings to kick harry p's ass.

Depends where you go, in Nottingham where I was at university there was this really old fashioned cinema that had intermissions with every film.

Plus they sold beer there and it was only about £3 for a ticket. :D

Well, anywhere that sells beer is nice.
I guess that's why they had an intermission, so that anyone who had been drinking during the first half of the movie could go for a piss.

i hope they make t3 hardcore, and not anything like the movies arnie's been making lately: just full of stinky cheese.
