It should be an OSHA violation to force people to play/work in that!

It's going to be the re-enactment of the battle for Stalingrad, a brutal game.

Y
I'm an engineer by trade an I'm fairly well paid, but when I look at putting money away for retirement, setting aside money for my kids education, and living day-to-day, paying $500 for an NFL game is insane. MLB still has it right: I can pay $15 a ticket and go have fun with my kids.
This is the result of greed by the NFL. League policy forces STHs that want to buy playoff tickets to buy tickets to TWO playoff games. Non-refundable. If that 2nd game isn't played, then it gets credited towards the next season season ticket package.
Factor in gouging on parking (unless you are smart and hit Parkwhiz a week in advance, $5 to park downtown in Indianapolis this Saturday FTW!) and its absolutely disgusting.

Apparently Seattle was even better and didn't charge until a home game was confirmed. Parking passes were $30 for me as they have been all year. I'd sell them for $50-$100 on Craigslist if I didn't go to the game though.. :whiste:
As its been explained to me, this is a new league policy, but thats all via hearsay, so I'm willing to admit I could be off. I honestly think that the NFL should have scheduled the Colts for Sunday, The Indy market was already heavily saturated by basketball that day between the Hoosiers and Pacers playing that night.
Is that $30 per game or for the whole year? As someone who is spoiled by being able to park a block from the arena for $5, I'm slightly spoiled.
-30 .... jeebus, that's crazy. I'm sure some drunk idiot will not be wearing a shirt / coat
I love games played in the elements (cold/rain/snow), but -30 is at the point where it detracts from the game IMO. There's no way the QB and WR's can even feel their hands, let alone make great catches.
should make for an epic ground game, though, as both teams excel there--well, SF more than GB overall, probably, but Lacey has been awesome this year.
Even though it's home, that kind of weather is probably going to affect Rogers more than anyone--I assume he can't be 100% after that broken collarbone.
Oh, and there's also other factors for the GB game not selling out yet. Payments for playoff tickets to season ticket holders were due last month, when no one thought they could get in. Add in to the fact you have to buy both wildcard/division & championship games at the same time and having the payment of any games not played being credited to next year's tickets.. well not many season ticket holders bought them.
This coming from my fiance's family who are GB season ticket holders.
CBS and NBC are making it easy for football fans to follow along this postseason by streaming their NFL playoff coverage online for free. Following the precedent it started in 2013, NBC will be offering both of its wild card match-ups this Saturday, while for the first time CBS will be streaming its four playoff games — including the AFC championship game — as well. All told, the entire AFC side of the NFL playoff bracket will be free online for customers — so whether you're a Broncos or a Patriots fans, your bases are covered.
Of course, the rights to various games are divvied up amongst different networks, and Variety reports that Fox will be hiding its online streams behind the TV Everywhere initiative. Comcast, Cablevision, and AT&T U-verse subscribers will be able to watch online coverage with the appropriate login credentials, but otherwise Seahawks or 49ers fans will have to resort to more traditional means of watching the game. Fox isn't being stingy when it goes to the biggest game of them all, however; it will be streaming Super Bowl XLVIII for free.

Wow, the fees just get credited to next years' tickets? Is this standard across all NFL teams?
they got UA gloves and Nike cold gear, they will be fine. lol
it's going to be awesome I can't wait to watch it FROM MY LIVING ROOM BY MY FIREPLACE WITH MY INEXPENSIVE FOOD AND HDTV.
It looks like the FCC is moving towards banning the NFL blackouts (and other sports TV blackouts):

If they do that, it essentially means the Chargers will eventually move out of San Diego, which I'm actually fine with at this point. Blackouts threats are very real in San Diego. The game against Cincinnati was blacked out this season and four games were blacked out last year. Unless the Chargers do better next year or ticket prices are lowered, I can only imagine ticket sales falling slightly which will only make it more likely that they move. The city is still extremely bitter from when we got screwed by the Chargers 15 years ago for the Qualcomm expansion and there really isn't much support for a new, taxpayer financed stadium especially where they want to build it (downtown).
