Holy crap! My friend was on ESPN yesterday

It was actually on ESPN2 at around 11PM PST. They had one of those specials and this segment was called Import Racers and it was about drifting. She's in a crew called Drifting Pretty and they go out and do competitions and such.

I was just amazed to see someone I know on ESPN.

My brother was on Sportscenter Top 10 plays this summer. 😀

What sport does he play?
heh he made it on because he was 1 of 2 guys out in San Diego grabbing cash dumped onto the baseball field (part of a contest)... they did that every Wednesday and ESPN happened to show it that day.

lol, we all play that sport! 😛

I just don't get the "drifting" thing. It was cool to see once or twice, but after that it's like Nascar. If you've seen a car go around a track once, chances are it's just the same thing the next time.

I don't have a clue as to what drifting even is.

Its the best way to get around a track slower and eat through more tires at the same time. Seems like a win-win situation to me 😉

I like watching it, since theres always a chance some idiot wants to show off and ends up wrapping their car around a pole 😛
