It was actually on ESPN2 at around 11PM PST. They had one of those specials and this segment was called Import Racers and it was about drifting. She's in a crew called Drifting Pretty and they go out and do competitions and such.

I was just amazed to see someone I know on ESPN.

heh he made it on because he was 1 of 2 guys out in San Diego grabbing cash dumped onto the baseball field (part of a contest)... they did that every Wednesday and ESPN happened to show it that day.

I just don't get the "drifting" thing. It was cool to see once or twice, but after that it's like Nascar. If you've seen a car go around a track once, chances are it's just the same thing the next time.

Its the best way to get around a track slower and eat through more tires at the same time. Seems like a win-win situation to me ;)

I like watching it, since theres always a chance some idiot wants to show off and ends up wrapping their car around a pole :p
