Wow, you can get the CPU to sit at not much over room/case temperature when it's not doing any work.

Whoop-a-dee-doo.

What's your CPU temperature when it's running under full load? That would be more impressive for me. If it idles at a low temp, but overheats when you use it, what's the point?

Mark, are you using stock air cooling?

If not, can someone with a stock HSF display their temps?

My 2500 barton only goes up by 3c when under load or when playing an intense game. Who knows.

If you read my post ABOVE it states my full load temp at 40c-42c depending on abient temp. I was posting to tell my case temp as suggested. Today my full load is 40c. And full load is defined as 100% usage for at least 5 minutes, not just gaming which ususally runs 20%-40% CPU on the worst games.

And to save another post, Regs, I have a Thermaltake Silent Boost K8 (21dba) that I got from SVC for $28 and $5 shipping.
