Ugh. Not that long ago a similar thing happened here in Bay Area - a police deputy sheriff fell asleep behind the wheel, crossed the median and plowed into a team of cyclists on a practice run. Killed two, severely injured a third guy.

yeah, I missed the "American citizen living in Brownsville" part...maybe HE should sneak back across the border and avoid prosecution like the Mexicans do when they get into trouble here...if not, he's in for some difficult times in a Mexican prison...hmm, Mexican version of "Bubba?"
