Are you referring to the $600 lcd monitors from DELL that was priced at 7 cents? I actually got one, but nobody on the FW forums believed me and called me a liar even after posting pics. Unlike most, I only ordered 1 with overnight shipping and actually got it the next day. Of course the shipping was $50, but hell, for a $600 monitor, it was a hell of a deal.

EDIT: Oh, and I've been here for almost 7 years now. If you include lurking, probably longer.

Actually, there were multiple monitors that had a price mistake. I got a 17" Sony LCD which was priced at over $600 back then. But I think the hitachi deal predated that one.

I was referring to the Hitachi SuperScan deal.. Thats when Hot Deals took off... and the term "wounded monitor children" was coined.
