Holy crap I love Google! (Traffic feature)

I love their maps feature where you can view traffic conditions, which I believe are based off of state speed sensors. It's usually pretty damn accurate and I can check it from my phone so it's convenient.

Well, I was just using maps and noticed you can check traffic during any 15 minute increment in the day. They base the graphics off of past traffic conditions at that certain time. I just went through 2PM-6PM for the northern half of the DC beltway and it seems to be dead on to me.

I use it on my Droid all the time to figure out which way to go to work.

I find MNDOT, and google traffic to be VERY inaccurate.

It said green all the way down 35W, yet it was stop and go, max 5-10mph.

Happens a lot. I check every morning when I leave, and when I go home.
