If you log out you get a faster load to the pages and stuff.

I Know this may be an inconvienence for some of you .. but for some it's not.

I'm not too sure if this was posted before 🙂 but it definitely works for me..

I haven't been on too much cuz it was soooooooooooo slooooooooooow but that seems to be fixed now 🙂 yay~!

Another way to make it faster for nonsubscribers: Don't post useless threads discussing the slowness of the nonsubscriber forums.

And you, a diamond member do this?

I am a subscriber, but I'm on dialup, so I'll take all the tips I can get. My work around is to use a couple of separate windows for ATOT. I read one page while the second page is loading. Don't lose any time at all like that!

That might make it faster for people who are logged in, too.

Well I use to frequent the forums often... but now since school started and all I haven't been visiting all that much. Maybe once or twice a day~

AGAIN it helps those that don't subscribe and it allows you to type in ur user name and password each time u post.

It's the kind of thing that Mozilla's tabbed browsing feature was just made for... 🙂

Man...mozilla is cool. I wish it would bring up any links that bring up a second browser into a tab instead. Still have to right click the link and left click on open in new tab.

I have noticed this too. It's sad that people who actually contribute to the forums rank lower on the bandwidth totem than those that just lurk.

Very true, should be the other way around.

Yeah, I open interesting threads in new windows, then I'll use the original window to open the next page.

I do that on broadband. Not because of speed but it just seems more convienant, especially if you accidentally click one of the many "I'm bored" threads that keep coming up daily... 😉
