So this coming Wednesday is the official unveiling of the route for the Dodge Tour de Georgia. As part of the shindig they'll have eight local cyclists wearing special jerseys signed by Lance representing the eight host cities on the tour route. They'll do a cerimonial ride to the site of the conference and then be part of the presentation ceremony.
Guess who's going to be one of these cyclists? 😀

[*] Got my new kit last night and I'm heading out in about an hour or so to meet up with the rest of the guys on the team. I did bring my camera, so I'll see if I can get some :camera:s for you guys. 😀
Pic of new jersey.
I'm back, it went very well. Our sponsor was psyched to see us getting all that camera time in our new kit.
The big photo-op at the end of the presentation.

Basically each of us represented one of the host cities for the TdG (I was Brasstown Bald) and we'd come out with a rep from that city as they were introduced. Then we just stood there and tried to look pretty for the remainder of the gig. Got a couple good photo ops and short interviews with the local press afterwards and also got to meet a few pro cyclists who will be in the race including Tim Johnson.
Probably not a name you guys know, but he's a bad, bad man on the bike.
I also got to say hello to JD Drew who was the representative from Valdosta (his home town).
All in all, a pretty cool experience. 🙂
