Holy crap! Crosswind nearly causes catastrophe for aircraft

I've done enough flying I can fully relate to what must have been going through the pilots mind. That's some seriously scary **** having that happen. I give them credit for keeping the plane under control and not crashing it. The smartest thing he did was to slam the engines full and try to pull out of there. It's always better to make a second or a 3rd pass than end up as a divit on the runway.

He was 10 feet from doing a cart wheel as the right wing almost touched the ground, that would be enough for me to go full throttle and get the heck out of there too, that guy saved a lot of lives besides his own that day a couple of weeks ago.
